1. What is a family physician?
A family physician is a doctor who takes care of your whole family. Family
physicians create caring relationships with patients and their families. They really
get to know their patients. They listen to them and help them make the right health
care decisions.

2. What do family physicians do?
Family physicians take care of the physical, mental, and emotional health of their
patients and their families. They know how your family's health history can affect
you. They are trained to care for you through all the stages of your life.
Family physicians are trained in all areas of medicine. They diagnose and treat the
full range of problems people bring to their doctors. They know when to treat you,
and when to bring in another specialist you can trust.

3. What kind of training do family physicians have?
Family physicians know the most current treatments and technologies. Only family
physicians train for 3 years in real practice settings, treating patients in the office,
the hospital, and at home. And they re-certify more than any other medical specialty.
Family physicians also continue to educate themselves. This allows them to apply
the latest medical breakthroughs to the everyday care of their patients.

4. What Insurances do you accept?
Twin Forks Family Practice accepts and participates in many insurances. Please
contact our office to see if we accept yours.

this is completed prior to your visit. It can either be faxed back to us, or you can bring
it the day of your appointment.

As you might imagine, the office is extremely busy during the day. If you need to
speak to the medical staff, it is always best to make an appointment. If you do call,
please allow 24-48 hours for the medical staff to call you back. Our staff makes
every effort to return calls as soon as possible, If the call is urgent, please let the
office staff know that, and they will try and bring it to the attention of someone who
may be able to assist you quicker.

7. Are same day appointments available?
We keep several slots a day aside for urgent or same day appointments. Please
call our office staff if you need to be seen the same day, and we will do our best to
